The film created by David Gordon Green who also directed “The Sitter” an action/comedy based production, introduced in a comedic aspect to the drug community. This drug community involves the buyer, seller, and the consequence of the law ironically, the police are in on the profit of the marijuana being sold– which one would call “undercover”. Green really makes his viewers skepticism push through since we’d never believe that the individuals designed to “protect” are being phony as their worries lie with making profit and taking out others for some head honcho. Why I see the film as so appealing can be the reason of corresponding actors Seth Rogen and James Franco who previously worked on “Knocked Up” a film about a man and woman who couldn’t see themselves as suitable parents let alone partners and seemingly enough make it work. The two provide this sensation of a true friendship because they’re so comfortable with one another and the way the acting shows is genuine on and off screen. If we could be able to discover the concept of the federal agencies working with drug dealers in certain cases I believe the public wouldn’t be surprised because films like “Pineapple Express” provide insight into the sketchy connections.
