Sensitive Interview of Denise

Denise, a survivor of a heroin addiction in 2014 strong enough to fight against the addiction and revive help from family and a rehabilitation center. There is no better expert than a person who has been through the event of losing themselves and finding a way to regain all their value that once was. Proud enough to say that Denise has been clean for 4 years now and sees no chance of heading back in that direction again.

 

How were you able to overcome the heroin addiction?

Response: “I was able to overcome my addiction with my faith in God and my husband”

Did you relapse and if you did why

Response: “I did relapse because I didn’t know how to deal with stress and numbing myself was easy.”

What are your future aspirations for yourself?

Response: “All I hope to be in life is a great mom, wife, and aunt. I want to be a supporter as much as I have been supported I owe it to others.”
